Creamy Garlic Pasta

This pasta recipe is so delicious. Everyone in my house loves it.

Ingredients:                                                                                                                        Add to Plan to Eat
  • Olive Oil
  • 4-6 cloves of minced garlic
  • A few tblsp. of butter
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 3 cups chicken stock
  • 1/2 lb. of angel hair pasta
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley

Procedure:

1. First, you start off by heating a splash of olive oil in a large pot, on medium to medium-low heat.

2. Add your garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, be careful not to burn the garlic or you will have to start over.

3. Add butter and allow it to melt.

4. Add in your chicken stock (fresh, cubes, or store bought) and your salt and pepper. Turn your heat to high and bring it to a boil.

5. Once it begins to boil add in your pasta.

6. Once most of the liquid has been absorbed add in your parmesan and stir. I find it easier to add the parmesan while there is still water left. The parmesan will melt, but not like normal cheese does and the water helps it distribute more evenly.

7. Once melted, turn off the heat and add in the heavy whipping cream and parsley. I do not use parsley. It's not something I keep on hand so I don't ever worry about it.

Cover your pot until ready to serve although it's best served immediately.
